In the closing moments of 2012, I consider my amazing journey since starting my collection in 2012 and eagerly anticipate all that lies in store for 2013.

Emerald Green - Pantone color of 2013

The Pantone fashion color report Spring 2013 is released on the first day of New York fashion week and is a comprehensive overview of designers' use of color in the upcoming Spring collections. The new favorite color is a rich, vibrant Emerald green (shade 17-5641), beating all the other shades of the rainbow to represent 2013.

Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute comments;

"Green is the most abundant hue in nature - the human eye sees more green than any other color in the spectrum.... Symbolically, emerald brings a sense of clarity, renewal and rejuvenation, which is so important in today's complex world... It is also the color of growth, renewal, healing, unity and regeneration - words we are all so in need of at this point in history."

In brief, this beautiful, elegant jewel tone enhances our sense of well-being, 'balance' and harmony in our busy and sometimes frantic lives.

The report also heavily influences fashion, home and beauty industries, amongst others.  On the runways, Emerald green was spotted for Spring 2013 collections at Michael Kors, Nanette Lepore, Barbara Tfank and Marimekko, amonst others.  Tracy reese took her bow wearing green!

Within the home, green can be like a neutral, complementing almost everything else.  Eiseman says, pair it with tan, black, blue or even yellow.

My fabulous boutique is nestled behind 5th Avenue, Olde Naples and houses an eclectic collection of sterling silver to 18K gold unique vintage and new pieces.  

My career began as accessories buyer for a British designer in London and my skills were honed working closely alongside both a talented German jewelry designer and a traditional jeweler.  Throughout this period, I travelled extensively worldwide and accumulated pieces I felt reflected my personal style.

After meeting the talented and vivacious local interior designer, Gary Shanabarger of Room 533, we decided to form a creative collaboration and feature an interior design studio within the shop!!! We share a clear passion and love for the beautifully unique.

I launched my global collection of sophisticated, bohemian pieces in October 2012, featuring designs by India Hicks, Carolina Bucci, Luis Morais, and many more.

Nothing gives me more pleasure than surrounding myself with exquisite jewelry I truly love and am passionate about!
